Dr. Frank Rafail earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree from Temple University in 1986. A member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association and San Diego County Dental Society, Dr. Rafail is a past President and Medical/Dental Director for Fresh Start Surgical Gifts, Inc., a local charity that provides surgery for children with birth defects, including cleft lip and cleft palate. He has enjoyed keeping a private practice in San Diego since 1990. Dr. Rafail's approach to dentistry is to provide his patients with knowledge of their oral conditions, through an extensive initial exam, which allows the patient and the doctor to build a relationship that will help the patient determine and achieve their level of care. “We want every patient to have all their goals and desires achieved and are eager to help educate each patient in the proper treatment planning to accomplish their desire”. Outside of his practice, Dr. Rafail and his wife, Diane, enjoy time with their daughter, Ashley and are active volunteers within the community. Dr. Rafail also enjoys golfing in his free time.   

Dr. Vasquez follows in the footsteps of his family. As a third generation dentist, his passion for dentistry was instilled at a young age. His gentle compassion and enthusiasm for treating his patients with comprehensive care exeeds standard. His mission is to provide patients the dental care they deserve in a nurturing and supportive manner. "I believe in promoting long term dental health through the most a dvanced and exceptional treatment options available to you". Dr. Vasquez recieved his bachelor's degree in Biology at UCLA. He then completed his dental degree at USC in 2001. Originally from South Pasadena, he moved to San Diego to escape the hectic Los Angeles lifestyle. His hobbies include: competetive running, hiking, traveling and being close to friends. He is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association and the San Diego Dental Society. He also shares his time by helping the underpriveliged families of the Vista Community Clinic. He is also a part time staff at a local college, teaching students about dentistry and dental assisting.

Kelly, Office Manager

The day to day running of the practice is in the very capable hands of Kelley our practice manager who has over 10 years of experience on the front line as head of reception and practice manager. As Office Manager Kelley strives to make each patient feel at ease and most of all comfortable with the treatment that has been presented. "I want to be sure the patient understands the importance of the treatment and the plan of action." Kelley's interests and hobbies include: working out, being outdoors and spending time at Lake Havasu with her family and friends.

Sunita, RDH

Sunita is a graduate of the University of Southern California. She earned her bachelor's degree in Dental Science in 1998. She is a Registered Dental Hygienist with 11+ years of experience specializing in non-surgical gum treatment and preventitive care. She is a strong advocate of continuing education so that she may deliver the best care to her patients. Her caring nature ensures comfort and a pleasant dental experience for all her patients. Sunita and her husband Bavesh have been married eleven years. They have two wonderful sons and two pet dogs at home. In her free time Sunita enjoys hiking, playing tennis and going out with friends.

Jenn was born and raised here in San Diego. She recieved her bachelor's degree in liberal studies from Cal State San Marcos in 2004. She then went on to complete her Dental Hygiene Degree at San Joacquin Valley College, where she was awarded for her proficiency in periodontics. Jennifer conveys a laid back personality which allows her patients to feel more comfortable and at ease during their treatment. She works with the doctors to provide gentle yet comprehensive care in order to better serve you, the patient. Jenn stays updated on new techniques, products, and services with continuing education courses to better promote your gingival health. In her free time she enjoys going to the beach, baking and spending time with her husband, Jordan.
